Architectural Firm is Hiring all Positions

Felder & Associates is a small architectural firm in Savannah, GA. We strive in a diversity of projects ranging from rehabilitations to new construction. We specialize in commercial, residential, preservation, institutional, and industrial. The structure of our ﬁrm allows us to follow projects we feel passionate about. We have designed churches, private schools, residences, corporate ofﬁces, restaurants, and manufacturing facilities. Felder & Associates is committed to finding projects we love, establishing the right team to share our enthusiasm, and working hard for our clients.

We are seeking a full-time architectural intern, draftsman, project manager or recently registered architect, to join our team. Applicants will assist project managers from early schematics through final construction documents. You will gain full exposure to all aspects of project delivery–from marketing and business development, through construction monitoring. We are particularly interested in someone with a strong residential background. You should have experience developing plans, elevations, and details for custom residences—not just copying standard details from a CAD library and assembling them into a permit set.

More seasoned applicants, with some project management experience, are also welcome. Perhaps you are ready for more independence. You should be able to take over projects and run with them on their own, provided you exhibit the appropriate abilities.

We use REVIT and AutoCAD–frequently both on a single project. Applicants should be able to produce detailed drawings working with these programs.

Applicant’s qualifications should include:

Architectural degree from an accredited School of Architecture, or
Drafting Certificate from a technical school plus a few years’ experience
Experience working in a professional setting.
Must be highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (including Photoshop and InDesign)
Excellent graphic and presentation skills as well as communication and organization skills
Must be capable of self-directed work as well as team interaction.
Must be highly motivated with good communication skills (we know everyone says this, but we mean it.)
The ideal team member should possess common sense with a good sense of humor and bowling skills.
