Richmond Hill United Methodist Church ground breaking - Felder & Associates

(WJCL) – A big project in Richmond Hill broke ground today. The United Methodist Church broke ground for a new building at noon.

The $3.5 M project will include a 14,000 square-foot Ministry Center. It will provide facilities for the growing needs of the congregation and the community.

The project includes a fellowship hall to seat 400 people and a commercial kitchen. It also includes a worship space for the church’s contemporary worship service, a youth center that will accommodate 120 youth, and office space.

Crews will also be modifying the current fellowship hall to convert it into a nursery area and music suite.

The new building is located near the church on Ford Avenue in Richmond Hill.

Representatives from the church and construction firm along with the mayor were in attendance.
