Bob Poticny, a seasoned Senior Project Architect with over three decades of experience, joined Felder & Associates in 2024. His career trajectory, marked by contributions to renowned architectural firms, has solidified his position as a respected authority in the field.
After graduating from Georgia Tech, Bob returned to Savannah and spent five years with The Spriggs Group. This was followed by nine years at Hansen Architects, where he first met Brian Felder. In 1998, they joined forces with a third partner to launch Poticny Deering Felder. The firm merged with another to become Greenline Architects in 2007, where Bob worked until his move to Felder & Associates.
Bob brings a wealth of experience and wisdom, having excelled in the competitive Savannah market for more than 30 years. His impressive portfolio includes the design of over 70 retail stores for Parker’s and Enmarket, showcasing his expertise in commercial architecture. His work on the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College renovations is a testament to his skills in historic preservation, demonstrating his ability to restore and revitalize iconic buildings. Three magnificent buildings, abandoned for decades, were brought back to life in a stunning renovation that restored their beauty, grandeur and elegance, along with the welcoming crescent drive of the campus entrance.
At Felder & Associates, Bob is dedicated to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of architects. His passion for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration has created a dynamic and inspiring work environment.
A true Savannah native residing on Wilmington Island, Bob actively contributes to the community. He dedicated eight years as a Boy Scout pack leader and served for 12 years on his homeowner’s association board. Beyond architecture, Bob enjoys restoring classic cars, including die-cast Hot Wheels and full-size Ford Mustangs. He has been a dedicated member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for over 32 years.
